Description:
Color illustration from the story of Theseus and the Minataur depicting of the side view of a woman leaning back as she carefully walks forward. She holds a ruffled polk-a-dot parasol high above her head with her right arm and her garment away from her bare feet with her left hand. The parasol creates a dark shadow above her. She is clothed in a flowing transparent blue sleeveless dress that reveals her nude body beneath. She has black curly hair, pale caucasian skin and wears an ornamental hair band and earrings. The background is shaded with light blue and taupe-colored watercolor paint.
