Label Text:
Leonardo studied controlled motion by rotating a hand operated cylinder cam. Guided by a variety of shapes, the cam achieved the desired working action through its prefixed horizontal movement. This was the first use of the can as a regulator for both time and motion. - Dr. Roberto A. Guatelli
