Label Text: The manual rotation of a large wheel constructed with two attached semi-circular grooved sectors placed parallel with two moveable arms, produces a crisscrossing movement frequently used in the textile industry. As the wheel is rotated the arms which originate at stationary axes, some in contact with the grooved sectors and are slid along the grooves. This will alternately crisscross each arm and force an attached rod forward and back. - Dr. Roberto A. Guatelli
