Description:
This Tohono O'odham (formerly Papago) pitcher with handle is white with various black animals. Unusual for a Tohono O'odham pot, which usually features geometric patterns and bright colors, this item has three foxes or coyotes, as well as cactus, on it. The rim is painted with a black line, and a majority of the pot is white--without much decoration. AP2018
