Description:
Carved ivory handle shows two "perched" birds on one side, sitting atop a bear. On the front, the handle displays a whirling log motif and three stacked human-like figures. A third side shows a bird on top of a standing man. A metal (iron or steel traded with Europeans or washed up onshore from shipwrecks, native copper, or European copper) blade would likely be attached to the handle. AP2018
