Description:
Gold sword and scabbard. Scabbard has leaf and bird designs on front, and is engraved on the back "N.P. Ames, Cutler, Springfield, Mass." The sword is silver, shiny, and almost new, with frosted decorations including the same inscription and an image of a Native American reminiscent of the "Tecumseh" pattern though it appears to be acid-etched. The hilt is gold, and the handle has a feathered decoration.
