Description: Ceramic decorated with the name of the drug in blue on a white ground within a label about the center; manganese, ochre, green and blue foliate scrollwork bands above and below.
Label Text: The abbreviated inscription describing the contents of this vessel has not yet been deciphered, though it is clear that it held some variety of preserve. Adding to its enigmatic nature, prior to the firing and painting process, a yet unidentified mark, likely that of the potter, was perforated on the surface of the vessel.
