Description:
View of St. Peters and the bustling square with an obelisk in the center of the composition, in front of the basilica. In the foreground there are numerous people of differing social statuses, and to the left there is an elaborate carriage while to the right is a watering trough from which a horse drinks. Below the image is an inscription with the title and key to the numbered features.
