Description: English delft circular plate with blue decoration. The well is decorated with two daisy-like flowers growing from the ground, and other taller flowers and grasses. The curvature is encircled by alternating half flower-heads and stylized leaves matching those in the well, enclosed with two blue bands. The rim has a geometric design of dots in connected arches or scallops with a blue band around the outer edge. This design has been found both in Liverpool (where a fragment with this scalloped rim decoration has been found, which is now the the Liverpool Museum collection) and London. This plate has been attributed as 'probably Liverpool' because of the dark blue pigment and glaze.
