Description: Silver tray or stand with a reeded edge and a center convex bulge with the engraved crest of a crowned lion rampant, which was probably used to hold a funnel. The tray is marked "I.T" in a rectangle with a pellet between attributed to John Tweedie, and the date letter "E" for 1801, Irish harp, and seated Hibernia on the base. This may be the same John Tweedie whose only mark was entered as a plateworker on Dec. 1, 1783 at 7 Holiwell, St. Clements, and who has a similar mark of "IT" separated by a pellet. Formerly HD 62.082.
