Description:
Silver spoon with an upturned fiddle-end handle, slightly rounded shoulders, and and pointed oval bowl, which is marked "Robinson" and engraved with the initials "SF" in script on the front of the handle. This mark is attributed to John Foulk Robinson (1812-1867) of Wilmington, Delaware. However, the "ROBINSON" mark was also used by Benjamin Robinson of Philadelphia, Pennsylvannia, working 1818-1844, although normally with an eagle stamp.
