Tin-glazed earthenware (delftware) with cobalt blue decoration. Inscribed: “P:MATHAEI” The jar has paper labels on the bottom for the "John Philip Kassebaum Collection", Lothian Collection, faintly printed labels for "Sampson Antiques," and one written "L Bristol/ 1750."
