Glazed Redware Jar with Bold Copper Slip Brushwork, attributed to Nathaniel Seymour, West Hartford, CT, circa 1800-1830, Thrown, cylindrical jar with rounded foot and tooled rim, decorated in white slip with application of dry copper color with a series of wide brush strokes, applied over a dark orange ground. Surface covered in a clear lead glaze. Flared rim. Missing jar lid. Chip on rim.
