Description:
This taster porringer has a well worn fleur-di-lis touchmark on the handle. It was made by Richard Lee Sr. or Jr.
The Sr. Lee worked in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Springfield, VT. The Jr Lee worked only in Springfield, VT. A very scarce touchmark for Richard Lee, Sr. or Jr. Small cast taster porringer with cast and applied tab handle, there is a linen mark in the interior of the bowl where the handle attaches to the bowl, the handle has a cast fleur de lis mark, three holes, and a foliate edge.
