Description: Queen Anne porringer-top tea table. "Porringer" refers to the bold rounded corners on these types of tables, often made in the Newport, Rhode Island, area and used for variety of occasional purposes. The table has a oblong top with rounded outset corners and molded edges; over straight skirts with cyma-shaped corners and secured to each leg post with two pins; and four tapering, circular legs ending in raised pad feet.
