Description:
Banded patterns like this one were typically used on shirts and mantles; the knitted fragment may indicate the presence of fringe or an additional border.

Label Text:
Abstract animal heads are depicted on a textile fragment likely from the wrapping of a mummy bundle. Precise identification is difficult, but the patterns probably represent felines with pointed ears and whiskers.
