Description: left and center panels of a vertical ōban triptych; nishiki-e; bijinga
Label Text: Both prints are signed at lower-left "Gototei Kunisada ga" ('drawn by Gototei Kunisada'), a signature used by the artist from ca. 1809–1842, and again in 1845. Above each signature is the circular kiwame seal of the censor; the last known use of this style of seal dates roughly to 1842. Beneath the signature is the mark of publisher Enomotoya Kichibei of the firm Hōeidō. The title of the print appears at middle-lower right of the central panel. Another impression of these panels is held at Ritsumeikan University (acc. no. Z0172-331).
