Signed "Kikugawa Eizan hitsu" ('drawn by Kikugawa Eizan') vertically descending at lower-right. While an exact date of publication is not yet known, the style of Eizan's signature is consistent with other examples dating from ca. 1807–1814, a period in which he also executed many bijinga, or prints of beautiful ladies.
