Description:
Tinaja (large water jar), lower part of body bulbous with with sloping shoulder, incurving neck and flaring rim; resting on 3 looped legs. A small loop handle on each side of body. A mask projects from the side of the neck. Buff colored ground with slip decoration in dark brown; on one side a design with a flower pot from which spread long stemmed flowers and 3 birds, 2 perched on stems and one pecking at blossom. Other side has similar design with 1 bird. Illustr. in Casa Manana
