Label Text:
A native spear from Northern Rhodesia, South Africa. Hand forged native iron head of characteristic spear shape, with two pairs of pointed barbs, cut and bent away from the shaft. The ferule is of band iron, wound touching. The handle has been cut off. Spear Head: 7 1/2" x 1 5/16" Head and shaft: 14 1/8" long. Cat. 10/16/1937.
