SKINNER CATALOGUE:
A native Malay shield from Singapore. Made of a hard black wood, round and slightly convex. Face decorated with six 4 1/8" and one central 5 3/8" brass, pierced, six pointed stars, with center nipples. Edging of small triangles done in brass wire.
Diam.: 15 1/2". Cat. 6/1/1938.
