The inscription reads:
Shalmaneser, the great king, the mighty king, king of the world, king of the country of Assur, son of Ashurnasirpal, the great king, the mighty king, king of the world, king of the country of Assur, son of Tukulti-Ninurta, king of the world, also king of the country of Assur, from the massive ziggurat in the city of Kalhu [Nimrud].
