Label Text:
Fink has photographed celebrities, socialites, and the working class, balancing a career as a commercial photographer with his critiques of social interaction at all levels of society. This image is from his "Social Context" portfolio, which explored social posing, form high-class metropolitan soirées to rural celebrations. His use of the electonic flash and high-contrast printing aids his search for the flaws that appear in our public selves.
