Description:
Silver spoon with a pointed oval bowl, rounded shoulders, and a double-swell handle, which is marked "SKINNER & SWEET" and "BOSTON" in rectangles on the back of the handle, and engraved with the initials "SF" in script on the front of the handle. Alvah Skinner (1807-1883) worked in Boston from 1830-1880, and was in partnership with James Sweet from 1846-1857.
