Description:
One of two silver tablespoons (see HD 1998.7.5) with an oval bowl and deep rounded drop; straight thick hemispherical shaft tapered to wide downturned pointed-end handle; short midrib on the back of the handle; and bright-cut ellipse on front of handle tip with pendant below. The spoon is marked "E.B" twice on the back near the handle tip for Ephraim Brasher (1744-1810), and engraved with the initials "CO" in script in bright cut oval on the handle.
