Description:
Silver tablespoon with a large egg-shaped bowl and pointed wrigglework drop, and straight hemispherical shaft tapered to a pointed-end handle, which is marked "T.GRANT" ina rectangle on the back of the handle for Thomas Grant (1731-1815), and engraved with the Initials "WMM" in script on the front of the handle. Grant worked in Marblehead from c.1761-1790.
