Description:
Silver tablespoon with an elliptical bowl (bowl tip is worn) with rounded drop and eleven-lobed shell on the back; thick hemispherical shaft tapered to a upturned, spatulate-end midrib handle, which is marked "BOYER" in a rectangle for Daniel Boyer (1725-1779), and engraved with the initials "A+B" in block letters on back of handle, and incised "223" on the reverse of the handle shaft.
