landscape panorama with trees on either side, field in center, water beyond field and castle on hill in distance left of center, ground filled with hunters, horses and dogs all actively engaged in a stag hunt, the stag rearing at the water's edge, in the middle right is a carriage pulled by six horses, at lower right front a seated hunter holds his dog back and at lower front left several dogs walk toward the center image with two men on foot and two on horseback
