text: This portfolio is composed of 12 color photographs documenting / earth and body works from the Silueta [italics] series executed / by Ana Mendieta between 1973 and 1977 in Mexico. The / photographs were printed from slides taken by Ana Mendieta / during her lifetime. The printing and subsequent publication / has been carried out in 1991 by Galerie Lelong in cooperation / with the Estate of the Artist. / The series is an edition of 20, numbered one to twenty with four / Artist's proofs marked I to IV. Four of the images measure 13 1/4 / x 20 inches and eight of the images measure 20 x 13 1/4 inches. / Each photograph is stamped-signed by Raquel Mendieta, the Administratrix of the Estate of Ana Mendieta.
