Description:
Cotton two-piece dress, off white with a brown print of square grids and a floral design, which came from the attic of the Bryant House in South Deerfield. The bodice has a wide, but high, neckline; single ruffling on either side of front center forms a V-shape tapering to the waist; fastens in back with hook and eye closures;.dropped shoulders are fitted, with double ruffling; sleeves are full, and then each taper to a cuff. The skirt has gauging at the waist for fullness, and down center of skirt is more double ruffling, with a pocket hidden in the top;.skirt fastens at the right and is not lined. Good condition; some staining.
