Description:
Woman's one piece dress of alternating blue and brown striped silk in a plain weave. The bodice has a center front closure, with eleven buttons and corresponding worked button holes. Round neckline with self piping and dropped shoulder seam and dropped shoulders. Two braids of matching blue and brown at each shoulder and tapering to waistline front. The sleeves each have an underarm seam. Back of garment has two curved side seams which come to a 'V' shape at waistline back. Inside the bodice are four darts; one on each side of front and one on each side of back. Lining is brown cotton twill weave, chintz. Single boning on each side of front, right side missing.
