Description:
English delft saucer decorated in puple, green, and yellow. The edge-to-edge well scene depicts a woman with yellow hair, purple dress, and waving with her right hand. She is seated in front of a purple fence, purple house with yellow windows, and green, yellow, and purple trees with two flocks of birds flying overhead. This popular design, which is also found on punch bowls, often included a male companion.
