Description:
Leather, silk and linen with attached carrying handle. Probably American, mid 19th century. Good condition, slightly frayed in places and faded. Contained herein is a baby dress, a baby cap, four pieces of linen with printed designs (19th century), and a needlework card measuring 3-5/8" x 3-1/16" with the design of a tomb and the phrase "In memory of M. B. Hosley who died Mch 13h, 1846, Aeg 21 yrs. Memento mori E. R." Also a sort of oblong purse covered with silk, L: 3-1/4".
