Description:
Walnut dressing table made in Boston or the north shore of Massachusetts with brass pulls and white pine used as secondary wood. It has a rectangular, two-board top with molded edges and notched corners pegged to a conforming case with one long drawer over three short drawers. The blocked central drawer has a plain recess or scoop framing the brass pull, over a skirt comprising three flattened arches divided by a pair of drop finials. All resting on cabriole legs with peaked knees and pad feet. The drawer pulls are likely replaced but are old and period to the table.
