One of an assembled set of 22 postcards depicting the town of Deerfield. Black and white photograph. In the lower right hand corner is the number 34.Handwritten on the back "THOS. TAYLOR SON OF JOHN/ SON OF JNO. OF WINDSOR--/ MARRIED SARAH THANKFUL/ DAUGHTER ELEAZER HAWKS SR./ THIS HOUSE WAS BUILT BY ELEAZER IN 1712./ Our grandmother Thankful's brother. [this was typed below the above, and all of the above is lined out and followed in another hand by--]/ Hawks House Wapping" Printed in light black ink on the reverse of the card is "POST CARD" and "place stamp here", "correspondence" and "address."
