Description:
Pair of boy's drawers worn with breeches dating to the early 19th century. Entirely handstitched, and constructed with flat felled/French seams, these drawers acted as underwear for the wearer. Six worked button holes along the waistband would have fastened to corresponding buttons on the breeches themselves. There is a side placket openng on each side. Each knee band fastens on the inner leg with one white glass button.
