Description:
Chinese export porcelain round saucer in blue, rose, turquoise, brown, peach, iron red, black overglaze enamels and gilding. The well is decorated with the coat of arms of Speyer-Dixwell, Spyer impaling Dixwell, which was made for Spyer of Oxfordshire and Walgrove and Dixwell of Barham, Kent and Warwickshire. There is a black-edged double gilt chain at top near the rim.
