An indenture defining fifty acres of land bequeathed by John Aubrey of Fairfax County, Virginia, to Hanover Braidie of Fairfax County. Date July 20, 1767. Signed by "G. Washington, John Westjun, Benj. Talbutt, Owen & Hanover Braidie (mark), Philip & Frances Ellis (mark). Originally framed.
George Washington (February 22, 1732 – December 14, 1799) was the Commander in Chief of the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War and was elected first President of the United States (1789-1797).
