Description:
Woman's rounded black felt cloche with velvet trim. Felt is partly rabbit(?), those fibers-more visible on inside of hat. Largely undecorated except for gathered velvet trim encircling hat on lower back edge (bavolet style) over top of front. Possibly unfinished, or missing trim. Small sewn slit in back to create shape (vertical sides). Lined with tan silk, in shreds, draw string to adjust fit. Black gross grain ribbon along bottom edge of hat.
