Description:
A woman's walking suit in brown corduroy consisting of a bodice and matching skirt timmed with matching silk braid, which was worn by Eleanor Fitzgerald Esleeck. A 1934 photograph of Esleeck in this dress exists in the Smith College Archives (class of 1908, box 1735); Eleanor attended Smith from 1904-1908. As part of tradition at the College, alumnae return and often wear the clothing fashionable during their undergraduate years.
