Description:
Chinese export porcelain quatrefoil shaped, lightly fluted teapot stand in the Famille rose palette, which is decorated with the arms of the Smyth family. The center has blue, white, turquoise, iron red, rose, purple, black and gilded decoration. The motto at the top of the well reads "Tien ta Foy"; and the well has gilt diamond double chain decoration with gilded edge.
