"BY HIS EXCELLENCY/ JOHN WENTWORTH, Esq,/ Captain-General, Govenor and Commander in Chief in and over His MAJESTY's Province/ of NEW HAMPSHIRE. & c./ To either of the ordained Ministers of the Gospel in said Province and to them only; / YOU are hereby Authorised and Impower'd/ to join together in holy matrimony [handwritten:] David Young and Sarah Castman - / unless some lawful Impediment appears to you. to the contrary./ GIVEN at PORTSMOUTH, the Thirteenth Day of January --3 [1773 written in pencil] / Wentworth." Relates to 2014.19.82, tall clock, and 2014.19.9, tall clock.
