Description:
Silver tablespoon with an elliptical bowl (tip worn) and deep rounded drop; straight hemispherical shaft to upturned rounded-end handle; and short midrib on the front of the handle. The spoon is marked "EC" in a square twice on the reverse of the shaft for Ebenezer Chittenden (1726-1812), and engraved with the initials "DM" ? in block letters on the back of the handle. .
