Description:
Black twill silk petticoat with pleated silk ruffle with lace trim (three rows pleats, two rows and bottom edge of black lace). From top ruffle to hem is a taffeta underlining with unusual pinked edge. Petticoat is pleated onto front yoke of skirt trimmed with foggotting. Back is gathered onto a yoke. Closure at waist made of four buttons and handmade buttonholes at each side. Drawstring on back allows for further adjustment.
