Description:
Set of four silver teaspoons (unmarked) with pointed-end handles with bright-cut engraving creating a lozenge design with bell flower or husk motif, and pointed oval bowls with tapered drops and foliate swages on two of them, and molded drops on two, which are engraved with the initials "LT" in script on the front of each handle. The donors purchased these spoons from a dealer named Mrs. Hosley in South Deerfield. Most of what Mrs. Hosley had appeared to have been obtained from Deerfield families.
