Description:
Silver teaspoon with a downturned rounded-end handle and elliptical bowl with an incised triangular drop on the back, which is marked "WH" in a rectangle on back of handle for William Homes Jr. (1742-1825) and engraved "MR" in foliate script on the front of the handle for Mercy Daniels Richardson (1755-1854), the wife of Abijah Richardson (1752-1822) of East Medway (now Millis), Massachusetts, who married in 1772.
