Description:
Saucer of a teacup and saucer set. Chinese export porcelain cylindrical teacup with a tapered base and foot rim and saucer, which are decorated in underglaze blue enamel with a bulbous jar holding a ruyi (ju-i) or ceremonial scepter, scrolls, a flower; and a rock with holes (scholar's rock) with a small pine tree growing from the top; and a band of floral cartouches around the interior rim of the cup and exterior rim of the saucer.
