Description:
Small plate, part of an English Staffordshire teaset decorated with a blue transfer print with floral sprays. Pattern is "Net Trellis and Flowers." The plates are impressed with "ROGERS" for the firm initially established by John and George Rogers (working 1784-1815) and continued as John Rodgers & Son (working 1815-1842) after the death of George in 1815, and the rest with an American eagle. The set consists of two teapots with covers, sugar bowl with cover, cream pot, waste bowl, 10 tea cups, 10 saucers, and 4 plates.
