Description:
Ovoid tea canister fashioned from four pieces of sheet metal with a slightly domed, hinged lid, clasp and circular wire handle at the top. The canister is painted a dark green with 3 white swans or geese swimming right to left across the facade; the painted decoration maybe a home made addition. Still smells faintly of tea. Owned by Lucretia Street Hall of the Hall Tavern in Charlemont, Massachusetts, great-great grandmother of the donor.
