Description:
This painting shows three women, all wearing white mantas with red and black stripes, black dresses, red belts, white leggings, and white shoes. They hold Hopi style baskets, and all have their hair done in small buns on either side of their head. Each is wearing a silver and coral necklace, with a small feather in their hair. This painting's balance, subject matter, and "simple" style are all characteristic of Montoya's paintings. AP2018
